Grape variety: Sangiovese
Location: steep southern hillsides, 300 m.a.s.l.,microclima Terroir – yellow clay with sand and ochre loam
Harvest: Manually harvested in small boxes
Method of fermentation: The pure red grapes Sangiovese are pressed immediately after the harvest. The fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, maceration in steel tank for 4 weeks.
Finishing: The wine stays in steel tanks until bottling. 6 months bottle maturation.
Alcohol: 12.5%
Enjoyment maturity: Immediately, the maturing potential is 2-4 years.
Service temperature: 8 to 10°C
Recommended for: Very versatile – aperitifs , starters or main courses or cheese
